Pittcon to Exhibit at JAIMA
Pittcon 2011 will be exhibiting at the JAIMA Expo (Japan Analytical Instruments Manufacturers Association), Makuhari Messe, Tokyo, Japan, September 1-3, 2010, Booth # IU-09. Pittcon will also sponsor a symposium organized by Koichiro Matsuda of JAIMA & Horiba. Pittcon 2011 President Penny Gardner will deliver the introductory remarks followed by Andrew G. Ewing, Ph.D., University of Gothenburg, Sweden, presenting "Electrochemical Measurements at Single Cells and Vesicles." Norman J. Dovichi, Ph.D., University of Washington, will be speaking on "Single Cell Proteomics and Targeted Metabolomics." Closing remarks will be made by Atsushi Horiba, JAIMA President. and Chairman, President and CEO of Horiba Ltd
The symposium will take place on Wednesday, September 1, at 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., in the International Conference Hall.
JAIMA is organized by the Japan Analytical Instruments Manufacturers Association (JAIMA) and the Federation of Scientific Instruments Associations (JSIA). The mission of JAIMA 2010 is to support and promote the advancement of R&D and production in various industry sectors. The event will offer products and services from 500 exhibitors and admission is free.

Last year, Japanese conferees were one of the larger international segments in attendance at Pittcon."
