Nine top companies awarded Pittcon 2019 Excellence Awards for ingenuity and creativity in scientific advancement
Pittcon, the world’s leading conference and exposition for laboratory science, is pleased to announce the selection of nine finalists in the annual Pittcon Today Excellence Awards conducted by CE Communications, the official publishers of Pittcon Today and the Pittcon Buzz.
These awards recognize innovations at this year’s exposition and offer a channel for exhibitors to showcase their scientific advancements. From titrators, wireless temperature sensing, and chromatography columns, to time-saving innovations, judges viewed all types of scientific products and selected finalists out of a diverse pool of submissions.
When asked to comment about the Pittcon Today Excellence Awards, Mark Donaghy, VP Sales & Marketing, Raptor Photonics stated, “We are delighted to have been shortlisted for the 2019 Pittcon Today Excellence Awards for our OWL 1280 VIS-SWIR detector. It supports our belief that we are designing and manufacturing some of the best InGaAs cameras on the market today and this is very much reflected by our customers around the world, who are pleased with the high resolution, ultra-sharp images they are seeing with the camera”.

The blue chip panel of judges, consisting of thought leaders from across academia, industry and trade media selected this year’s winners based on the products’ ingenuity, creativity, implementation and outcomes, as well as the projected impact on the industry and wider public.

This year’s finalists were among the exhibitors at the Philadelphia event. Pittcon attracts attendees from industry, academia and government from 90 countries worldwide. Pittcon 2020 will be held March 1-5, 20 in Chicago, Illinois.
