The Division of Cell and Developmental Biology, part of the University of Dundee’s School of Life Sciences, is taking advantage of Anachem’s recently launched Rainin TerraRack™ pipette tip racks to minimize storage and waste disposal requirements.

Ian Newton, Scientific Officer in the Näthke lab, explained: “Our laboratory is focused on adenomatous polyposis coli (APC), a multi-functional protein which has a role in a variety of basic cellular processes, including cell migration, cell adhesion, and proliferation. Mutations in APC are closely linked with both inherited and sporadic colon cancer, and we use a variety of techniques to investigate the various protein interactions of APC in vivo. Because we work with whole tissues, cultured cells and biochemical assays, accurate and reliable pipetting is crucial to our daily work.”
