Waters Corporation (NYSE:WAT) today announced the appointment of Mark Bruns, Ph.D. to the position of Senior Director Clinical Business Operations, Waters Division. Bruns, 42, joins Waters from Abbott Diagnostics where he was responsible for Global Marketing for Abbott’s infectious disease business and, in his last role at Abbott, was Director of Business Development for Abbott’s $2.8B Diagnostics Division. Bruns earned his Ph.D. in chemistry in 1990 from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
