Porvair Sciences has
developed a range of high performance filter plates to suit most filtration
applications. Filter plates are used in their simplest form to remove
particulate matter from liquid where either the particulate matter or the
filtrate is required for further study.
Available in a wide choice of formats (48-, 96- and 384-well), well volumes
(350?l - 5ml) and filtration materials (glass fibre, nylon, PVDF and
polyethylene) - Porvair is able to offer an optimised filter plate for
applications including cell harvesting, DNA separation, binding studies,
plasmid isolation, general filtration and sample clean-up.
Each well on Porvair filter plates has an individual drainage spout ensuring
100% sample transfer and zero crossover contamination. Manufactured from
ultra pure grade polypropylene or polystyrene all Porvair filtration plates
minimise leachates when used with most common solvents thereby maximising
filtered sample integrity.
