MLawGroup and WS Partners Management Consulting (WS Partners) are pleased to offer new co-ordinated advisory services to pharma and biotech companies. Both firms are specialized in advising pharma and biotech companies on legal and technical issues respectively. As part of their co-operation and as a new service to their clients in the industry, they now offer the comprehensive preparation of agreements and the performance of due diligence reviews prior to the conclusion of such agreements which take into account both technical and legal aspects.

The main focus of the co-operation of both advisory firms is the preparation and negotiation of agreements  in the areas of licensing, collaboration, partnering, CMO, CRO, M&A and equity financing rounds, as well as the performance of due diligence reviews preceding such agreements in the pharma and biotech sector.

It is often possible to improve the quality of advice and moreover to save costs and time if the external technical and legal experts involved in these projects do not, as is usually the case, advise their clients independently of each other, but rather co-ordinate their advisory services. The timely inclusion of technical, regulatory, legal and strategic aspects as part of a comprehensive preparation of agreements and performance of due diligence reviews based on co-ordinated project management avoids loss of information, misunderstandings, duplication of work, delays and unnecessary costs.

The idea of offering co-ordinated technical and legal services came about when Dr. Werner Stüber of WS Partners und Dr. Henning Mennenöh of MLawGroup found themselves repeatedly advising clients in the pharma and biotech sector on the same projects. Joining forces in this way seemed logical, and many clients showed great interest in the idea.
