ISS Group has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Budapest-based manufacturer Technoorg Linda to distribute its full range of Ion Beam milling systems, including the unique Gentle Mill System in the UK and Ireland.

The Gentle Mill series of ion polisher products are partly or fully computer controlled systems for high-quality final polishing and cleaning of TEM, XTEM,  HRTEM, STEM and FIB samples and surface cleaning of Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) samples of best quality.

The latest model of Gentle Mill, the Gentle Mill 3 is a fully automated machine allowing an easy-to-use, operator independent, fast sample preparation procedure.

"We're pleased to have secured the exclusive deal with Technoorg Linda, giving the UK and Irish markets access to state of the art ion beam technology," said Grant Hurley, managing director, ISS Group.

"ISS Group can deliver the customer service and product support on a wide range of electron optical products and this further expands our product offering and expertise in the regions."

 The Gentle Mill products will be on the ISS Group stand (M10) at the Microscience 2010 show.
