Analytik-Jena-Offers-World-Sulfur-Nitrogen-Analysis

Analytik-Jena-Offers-World-Sulfur-Nitrogen-Analysis24 hours of continuous operation, 163 samples, without monitoring and in minimum space:

This is how compEAct works – a sulfur and nitrogen analyzer from Analytik Jena developed for the petrochemical industry. The detection power, measurement speed, and sample throughput of compEAct are peerless. Industrial customers who have already been able to test the device are enthusiastic and are already now demonstrably saving time and analysis costs.

“We use compEAct for the routine analysis of sulfur. The device impresses us across the board. It demonstrates unbelievable analysis speed in routine operation, is very easy to operate, and can fit into even the tiniest corner of the laboratory,” says Dr. Tobias Munde, Associate Analytical Manager of Dow Olefinverbund GmbH. The company already uses compEAct successfully in ongoing operations.

“With compEAct we are introducing a brilliant design concept to the laboratory world: simplicity. The system focuses on only one type of analysis – sulfur or nitrogen – and therefore works faster and has more detection power than other systems. Nearly anyone can operate it, it runs almost by itself, it requires only minimal servicing time, and it can be monitored remotely,” elaborates Dr. Marc Diener, Director Product Management and Application at Analytik Jena, on the advantages of compEAct.

The device requires very little space and operates nearly independently. Extensive training for laboratory personnel is not necessary. A sleek, intuitive user interface enables even inexperienced users to learn how to interact with the system. compEAct comes fully calibrated and equipped with a pre-installed ASTM methods library. Within a few hours after delivery the system is ready for operation. No longer are service technicians required to spend days on end configuring and setting up an analyzer. It is possible to operate the device directly via a convenient multi-touch display. If an employee is not in the immediate vicinity of the compEAct, the analytic results and system operation can be monitored by smartphone. The combination of simple handling, high throughput and autonomous operation makes the compEAct the ideal nitrogen or sulfur analyzer for petrochemical laboratories with large sample volumes and high efficiency standards.

Analytik Jena will expand upon compEAct’s simplicity concept in the future. A smart auto-pilot function, which recognizes and corrects errors independently, is already waiting in the wings. Predictive maintenance functions for consumables will be published shortly. As a result, compEAct users will save additional operating costs. Existing customers will also be able to use these functions by a simple software update.
