With both digital (SRT6D, SRT9D) and analogue (SRT6, SRT9) models available, Stuart tube rollers are recommended for mixing blood samples, viscous substances and liquid-solid suspensions where minimum aeration is required.

The six roller unit has been designed with a small footprint and the units can be used in conjunction with the accessory stacking system SRT/STACK – ideal for labs where bench space is at a premium.  The nine roller unit has a higher capacity and both units can accommodate most sizes of tubes, Bijoux, Universals and bottles, up to 100mm diameter.

The roller mixers operate through a gentle, but highly efficient, rocking and rolling action. This action is designed for continuous quiet operation whilst providing complete mixing. The roller mixers are robustly constructed and designed for easy cleaning, having plastic rollers and a drip tray to collect accidental spillages.

All Stuart tube rollers can be used in incubators up to 60°C and humidity up to 80%, or in cold rooms down to as low as 4°C.

The analogue units are easily controlled through a simple on/off switch and the unit will run continuously at the fixed speed of 33rpm. Variable speeds from 5-60rpm can be achieved by the advanced digital models that also contain a built-in timer. The digital timer can either be set from 1 second to 90 minutes, 1 minute to 9 hours or in minutes only mode up to 9999 minutes for maximum versatility.
